A unique international conference was held at the British Museum from 17-19
April 2001 on Herodian and Nabataean history, archaeology and art. It was
organised by Drs Nikos Kokkinos, Konstantinos Politis and Mr Sam
Moorhead. The conference was supported by the HSNES along with the
Palestine Exploration Fund (London), the Kress Foundation and the Karim
Sa‘id Foundation (London). The conference proceedings were published by Franz Steiner Verlag, Stuttgart, and edited by N. Kokkinos and K. D. Politis.
