It contains over 3,000 volumes, journals and off-prints (Ex Libris Dr Konstantinos Politis, British Museum) on the history and archaeology of the Near East which are available in-house only (no external borrowing) to HSNES members or under special arrangements.

After a recent visit by Dr Nikolaos Kokkinos (Oxford and University College London universities) he pledged to donate his 12,000 volumes specialising in the Herodian Dynasty as well as other history and archaeology publications. An additional 9,000 volumes focusing on Palestine/Israel have been promised by Professor Yoarim Tsafrir of Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
